LYDIA CIRCLE
MEETS ON THE Fourth MONDAY afternoon EACH MONTH AT 1:00 PM
Lydia circle is a small group of empowering women who encourage one another to pursue the Lord. Their field of study this year is Having a Mary Spirit by Joanna Weaver
We long to serve God with grace and strength, to reflect Christ in every word and action. Yet we find ourselves continually struggling to bring that vision to life in our daily walk. At the very core, every one of us is a "twisted sister" within whom the flesh and spirit battle constantly for control. We are afflicted with spiritual schizophrenia, the disconnect between our "good girl" desire to put Jesus first and our "bad girl" realities that crowd our thoughts and push him out of the way.
In Having a Mary Spirit, Weaver, directs your gaze past your own short-comings to the God who stands ready, willing, and able to make a new woman out of you. She equips you with biblical insights and practical tools to partner with Christ, inviting him into the hidden places of your soul and giving him full permission to redeem and renovate. Drawing on the stories of biblical Marys and others whose experience with God transformed their lives, Weaver shows how you can find the hope, healing, wholeness, and joy your heart longs for.

ESTHER CIRCLE
MEETS THE THIRD TUESDAY AFTERNOON EACH MONTH AT 1:00 PM
Esther Circle's ministry is important because we cherish our friendships with each other. We share our joys and concerns and reach out to each other with encouragement and love. We also enjoy our social gatherings with Lydia Circle, where all the women of the Church are invited. Our meetings consist of prayer, devotions and lessons with scripture readings. We have discussed ways to discover and appreciate hidden joys in life, no matter the circumstances, in the midst of challenges we face every day. We are to do all the good we can, to live a life of balance, contentment and hope. As children of God we have the opportunity to grow in His fullness of all God has called and created us to be.
Esther Circle meets on the 3rd of each month at 1 :00 PM from Sept.-May. We meet in members home and like the comfortable setting there. In December instead of a lesson, we have a fun Christmas party. We also enjoy eating out at a restaurant for lunch at our May meeting.
The study for this year features the book Jesus Is the Question by Martin Copenhaver.
The 307 Questions Jesus Asked and the 3 He Answered
In the foreword by Lauren F. Winner she writes, "I want to take each and every question (307) this book poses, which is to say, each and every question Jesus poses into prayer, into my conversations with God. In that way, Jesus Is the Question is becoming a staple of my spiritual life, and I hope it might become a staple of your spiritual life, too. I am almost envious of what you will hear, what you will discover in these questions, in this book.
