TGIF
(thank goodness it's friday)

This annual event provides a free lunch for the students and staff of our good neighbors, Cedar Falls High School.  Through our hospitality we make a witness to the love and grace we know in Jesus Christ. 

TGIF 2023

    Well, we did it!  TGIF has come to an end!  It’s been a joy to be a part of the TGIF celebrations for so many years.  We are so thankful to Jane and Rich Strike for their willingness to step in and help organize and run the event.  We also appreciate Gary and Carolyn Chambers for their support for one final TGIF as they helped the Strikes and assisted in many ways behind the scenes. Special thanks go to ThreeHouse for their participation and help on the big day! We are grateful to the Cedar Falls High School Students who were willing to help set up and tear down. There were many church members, teachers, and volunteers who grilled, served, and helped where needed. Thank you to David Calderwood for sharing his grill and talents!  It’s bittersweet that this tradition has come to an end, and we are grateful for the many years of having Cedar Falls High School as a good neighbor and we are grateful for all the volunteers who have helped over the years.  Here’s to the new high school and hoping that new traditions will emerge.
