A MOVEMENT FOR WHOLENESS
First Christian Church is a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregation. Our denomination has a congregational structure, meaning our individual churches are connected "by a common covenant that continues to allow for each expression of church life (congregational, regional, and general) to be self-governing." We align with the teachings of the DOC denomination as we practice unity and inclusion at the communion table, practice believer baptism, seek Christian unity, study scripture, and answer God's call for justice.
