the worship experience

WHERE
We gather together for worship in the sanctuary. The sanctuary is best accessed by the main door facing 11th Street. An accessible entrance is located via the church parking lot. WHEN Our worship services take place every Sunday (weather permitting) at 10:00 AM. During the summer, the first Sunday each month will be an outdoor worship at 10:00 AM. Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket. |
WHAT'S IT LIKE?
We welcome everyone to come as they are! There is no dress code here at First Christian, so please come dressed in whatever is most comfortable for you. When you arrive there will be greeters at the door, and you can address any questions to them.
During our worship service, we sing, pray, learn, and celebrate the Lord's table. Pastor Bob hosts a Children's Moment where the children gather at the front for a presentation or a moment at the puppet stage.
Every week we have communion, and ALL are welcome to participate and receive the elements. As a Disciples of Christ church, the celebration of the Lord's supper is integral to our worship every week. Currently, the congregation comes forward to receive the elements. You are invited to partake of the elements in your seat and have a moment of quiet reflection.
We pray that our gathering refreshes you for the week ahead!
